Hot Honey Sticky Beef Bowls (Gluten free and dairy free)

If you’re looking for a quick, flavour packed week night meal that’s naturally gluten and dairy free, this hot honey sticky beef bowl is about to become your new favourite. The beef mince is cooked with peppers and onions in gluten free soy sauce, hot honey, tomato puree, rice wine vinegar and sesame oil which goes lovely and sweet and sticky. Served with fluffy rice and topped with spring onions, it’s an easy meal that’s full of flavour and ready in less than 30 minutes. Frequently Asked Questions

Which soy sauce do you use?

I use the Kikkoman gluten free tamari soy sauce which you can buy in bulk on Amazon for a really reasonable price. It lasts for months in the fridge.

Can this be stored in the fridge and reheated?

Yes. This meal is great for meal prep and can be kept in the fridge for up to 48 hours and reheated in the microwave.

I can’t find hot honey, what can I use?

If you can’t find hot honey you can easily make your own by combining honey with chilli powder or flakes.

How many people does this recipe serve?

This particular recipe serves around 2-3 people, however you can double up the ingredients if you are cooking for more.
