.
Hi Julie,
So glad you enjoyed them!
Alice
Hard to find glacé cherries here this time of year. Can I substitute dried or fresh cherries? Your recipe sounds yummy!
Hi Cindy,
Yes I don't see why that wouldn't work :)
Hi, just found your recipes hoping to make the raspberry muffins and wondered if I could use almond milk in these ones as well or would it be too much?
Hey Sue,
Yes almond milk would work :)
Thanks,
Alice
Can I substitute gluten free flour for regular self raising without changing any of the other Ingredients?
Hi carol,
Yes this should be fine :)
Thanks,
Alice
Hi, I’ll be trying this recipe in the next few days since I’m an absolute sucker for the cherry and almond flavour combination 😋 I was just wondering how coarsely the marzipan should be grated, would you use the largest side on a standard box grater ?
Thank you !
Hi Jess,
Yes the largest side on a standard grater would be perfect.
Enjoy!
Can I use full fat milk please
Yes sure!
These sound delicious! Does the marzipan add anything else to the recipe besides flavour? Will they work without the marzipan (I'm impatient to make these and don't have any marzipan!) I've got almond essence.
Hi Lisa, The marzipan is just for flavour so you can leave this out no problem :)
