Pretzel Wreaths (Gluten & dairy free)

My gluten and dairy free pretzel wreaths are a really simple to make but effective Christmas treat! They make a really lovely Christmas gift or Christmas buffet side, combining gluten free pretzels with dairy free white chocolate and sprinkles.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which gluten free pretzels do you use?

For this recipe I use the Schar gluten free pretzels which are available in most UK supermarkets.

Which dairy free white chocolate do you use?

Any dairy free white chocolate would work, but I use the Sainsburys Free From White Chocolate Bars.

Which gluten free sprinkles do you use?

Any sprinkles that don’t contain wheat/gluten or milk would work. I use the Dr Oekter Christmas Cake Sprinkles.

Pretzel Wreaths

Prep Time15 minutes
Setting time15 minutes
Servings: 2 wreaths

Ingredients

  • 1 pack gluten free pretzels
  • 75 g dairy free white chocolate
  • Green food colouring
  • Gluten free christmas sprinkles

Instructions

  • Lay down a sheet of greaseproof baking paper. Melt your white chocolate in the microwave in 10 second bursts and then stir through the green food colouring until you get the desired colour.
  • Dip the pretzels into the white chocolate mixture (covering half the pretzel) and then arrange into a circle (I use 8 pretzels for each wreath). Repeat with a second layer or 8 pretzels and then sprinkle the top with Christmas sprinkles.
  • Place in the fridge for 15 minutes to set and then remove from the fridge and peel off the baking paper.
  • Store in a airtight container for up to 3 days.
