I am trying to go sugar free! Any recipes without sugar?
Love the triple choc and brownie recipes.
Hi, sadly most of my sweet recipes do contain sugar. I'm in the process of creating a few refined sugar free recipes though so keep an eye on my page! x
Well you said one of your commenters had said it was too chocolatey...and at the time I thought... 'is that possible?' but using Bourneville cocoa and 70% dark chocolate chunks, and going for the gooey version... too rich - for me! Solution? Cut them into smaller brownies! ...so I don't OD at one go! It will make them last longer too! Also next time I might halve the chocolate chunks to 75g and see what happens. Definitely ace on the goo factor although it was hard to overnight them in the fridge without tucking in!
Hi Miranda,
I'm glad you enjoyed them! They are extremely chocolatey and we often cut them into smaller pieces too.

Officially my new go to brownie recipe. I used half the amount of sugar and baked for 25 minutes. So delicious and gooey! Thank you :-)
Hi Julia, I'm glad you like the brownies :) x
Hi there! What kind of flour do you use in these? Could you use almond flour?
Hi,
I use a plain/all purpose gluten free flour blend (My favourite is the FREEE by doves farm blend). I haven't tried it with just almond flour unfortunately.
Thanks,
Alice
erm, these aren't dairy free... you've included eggs???
Hi Katy,
Eggs are not dairy. Dairy relates to any milk product.
Thanks,
Alice
Hey. Have you tried using cocoa butter ? Thanks!
Hi Sinead - No I haven't tried with this sadly x
Excited to try this recipe, but just wondering if vegetable oil would be ok instead of dairy free butter?
Hi Leona,
I haven't tried the recipe with vegetable oil so can't say for sure sorry! I think it would be ok though as they work similarly!

Hi Alice
I have your gluten free, dairy free brownies in the oven as I write this! Can they be frozen ? I belong to a running group and bake for most runs. One or two of our members and gf/df. So to have a batch in the freezer ready to grab would be great x
Hi Wendy,
I haven't personally tried freezing them but don't see why this wouldn't work :)

I made these this weekend as a sweet treat for my 6 year old dairy free son. I’m GF so was more than happy to share with him and oh my they are delicious! We used 70% cocoa powder and 150g of dairy free white choc drops. So glad I found this recipe - will be saving and baking them again for sure!
Hi Emma,
Thanks so much for the lovely message! So glad you enjoyed the brownies.
