French toast is something that I haven’t had since being diagnosed Coeliac, so I decided it was about time to make my own gluten free, dairy free and vegan version, meaning everyone can enjoy it. Ingredients:
For the french toast:
3 slices gluten free bread (I used Asda freefrom brown bread but any bread is fine)
3/4 cup almond milk
2 tbsp gluten free all purpose flour
1 tbsp chia seeds
2 tbsp coconut sugar (could also use normal sugar or sweetener)
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp coconut oil for frying
Method:
I absolutely love seeing what you’ve created, so if you do make this recipe (or any other recipe from my website) don’t forget to tag me over on my social media pages @glutenfreealice and use the hashtag #glutenfreealice
