Gluten and dairy free Christmas gift guide

With Christmas coming up in a few weeks, I thought I would put together a little guide of gift ideas to give to a loved one, in case you are struggling for inspiration. Including lots of chocolate, cookbooks, gift vouchers, alcohol, gift boxes and more! Most of these gifts are from small businesses, as I think it’s always great to support independent brands, even more so after such a tough year for them. If you do purchase any of these gifts I’d love to know what you have brought, make sure to leave me a comment.

Tenuta Marmorelle is an online Italian store which sells a huge selection of premium gluten free goodies such as pasta, pasta sauces, extra virgin olive oil, Prosecco, limoncello and much more. They also sell gift boxes, which would make for the perfect Christmas gift.

Love Free From is a Free From subscription box which sends out a selection of gluten and/or dairy free treats each month, this would make a great gift for someone to enjoy throughout the year.

Livia’s sell a delicious range of gluten and dairy free tasty treats, including their new Dunx limited edition spreads. These have gone straight onto my Christmas list!

Eat N Mess are a gluten free cafe based in Sevenoaks, Kent. They offer a postal service where you can order tasty treats and plenty of Christmas goodies. You can also buy gift cards to use in the future.

Bee Natural Inc sell reusable Beeswax food wraps on Amazon. They would make for a great sustainable stocking filler for those who are trying to cut own on using plastic!

Flower and White came out with these gluten free baking mixes during the first lockdown this year, which they are still selling over on their website. Including cookies, bread and brownies!

Nibsy’s are a gluten free cafe based in Reading, who sell these delicious make at home DIY Doughnut Kits which are gluten free and vegan! They are also selling vouchers over on their website for their Afternoon Tea which can be used in the future and would give you something to look forward to!

If you are buying a gift for someone who loves cooking or baking, why not pick them up a new cook book? A couple of my favourite gluten free cook books include Gluten is my bitch by April Peveteaux, How to be gluten free and keep your friends by Anna Barnett, Hassle free gluten free by Jane Devonshire and The everything gluten free and dairy free cook book by Audrey Roberts. I’m also a fan of The Roasting tin series for easy one pot dinners.

The Bear and Bee Sweet Company offer a huge range of gluten free sweet options which are great for stocking fillers. I was very kindly sent a box from friends for my Birthday earlier on in the year!

If you are buying a gift for a gin lover, a few stunning favourites include Mermaid Gin and Bobby’s Dry Gin. Craft Gin Club is also a great gin subscription box which would make a great gift.

You can’t go wrong with chocolate at Christmastime, and below are some of my favourite dairy free options! Including the Caramel Nomo, Chocolateeha Bars, Rhythm 108 Bars, Buttermilk Salted Caramel Cups, The Free From Kitchen Selection Box and Nat’s Kitchen chocolate bars. Nat’s kitchen also sell delicious gluten free and vegan Christmas sharing slabs.

Morrisons also have a great and extensive range of Free From chocolatey goodies which would all make for great stocking fillers.

Borough 22 are a delicious gluten free and vegan baked doughnut brand, with flavours such as peanut butter and Jaffa cake! You can also purchase gift cards on their website which can be used in the future.

B Tempted sell delicious gluten free cake treats, along with gluten free and vegan muffins, perfect for anyone with a sweet tooth.

Other great gluten free treat brands to order from online (or buy gift vouchers for) include The Mad Batter (who sell a selection of gluten and dairy free brownies and other baked goods), Goodness Grains Gluten Free Bakery (who are a bakery based in Ireland who ship delicious gluten free bakery products including a ‘Christmas essentials’ box!), Bad Brownie (who offer gluten free and vegan brownie options), and Baked by Neelu (who sell the most delicious gluten and dairy free chunky cookies and brownie mixes).

Wildcraft Bakery have also just launched a delicious gluten free festive menu including panettone and stollen. They also sell delicious whoopee pies and decorate your own gingerbread.

Ko-Co sell a delicious selection of gluten and dairy free brownies, melting pots and bronuts. I was very kindly sent a box of their snowflake bronuts as a secret Santa present and they are delicious! They also last for up to 4 weeks which is great for a Christmas present.

So there we have it, a range of gluten and dairy free gift ideas for Christmas this year. Most of the bakery brands included in this guide also sell gift vouchers to spend when you please, which always makes for a great present. Especially as there is already so much food to eat at Christmas as it is!

Alternatively you could also bake some Christmassy treats for loved ones this year. I already have a couple of festive recipes on my website including a Yule log and Melting Snowmen Cookies. Happy Christmas x
