For people who have recently found out that they have Coeliac Disease, gluten intolerance, a milk allergy, lactose intolerance or any other dietary need, coming to terms with all of the Free From products out there, as well as which ones are the best, can be difficult! It can be challenging trying to find a gluten free bread that doesn’t have a giant hole through the middle of it, a dairy free milk that doesn’t curdle when you pour it in coffee, or a gluten free pitta bread that actually opens up into a pocket, you all know the struggles! Along with that fact that trying to work your way through all of the Free From products to find your favourite can cost a small fortune!
To help with this I’ve decided to compile a ‘best of’ list (instead of my usual monthly favourites which will continue next month!) with lots and lots of different categories of products IE Bread, milk and cheese, along with my top gluten and dairy free pick for each category! Obviously this is completely my own opinion and we all have different favourites, so if you disagree with me on any of these, leave a comment and let me know your favourite! This post is not sponsored or biased in any way, it’s totally down to how the products taste, so here goes!:
Loaf of Bread –
Warbutons Gluten Free Tiger Artisan Bloomer
When it comes to gluten free bread, Warburtons gluten free tiger bloomer is the best yet. No holes, no falling apart and unlike most gluten free bread, edible without having to toast it! Pick this loaf up in most major UK supermarkets.
