3 delicious gluten and dairy free smoothie recipes

January means one thing for me, attempting to get out of the post Christmas slump, eat healthier and get back to the gym. So to do so, I have joined in with Debenham’s New Year Health Kickstart campaign by creating 3 very different delicious and healthy smoothie recipes for you all to use. There’s a smoothie for everyone below, including a super green version, a nutty chocolate protein version and a thick berry version! Each recipe is gluten free, dairy free and vegan and is made using a Nutri Ninja Blender and Smoothie maker. Click here to see all of Debenham’s amazing blenders and smoothie makers.

If you try any of the recipes, let me know what you think and don’t forget to tag me in your photos over on Instagram (@glutenfreealice).

Super green smoothie

1 cup spinach or kale

1 cup mango

1 cup pineapple

1 Pear

1 cup water

1/2 avocado

1 handful of ice

Method: Add all of the above ingredients to your blender and mix until smooth!

Nutty chocolate protein smoothie

1 scoop vegan chocolate protein powder

1 tsp cacao powder

1 cup unsweetened almond milk

2 frozen bananas

1 tsp peanut butter

Method: Add all the above ingredients to your blender and mix until smooth!

Berry smoothie bowl

1 cup frozen mixed berries

1 frozen banana

1 handful blueberries

1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk

Toppings of your choice (I used more blueberries, walnuts, pumpkin seeds, chia seeds and sunflower seeds)

Method: Add all the above ingredients (minus your toppings) to your blender and mix until a smooth and thick consistency. You may need to add slightly more liquid as you go along. Transfer to a bowl and add the toppings of your choice.

So there you have it, my 3 delicious and healthy smoothie recipes made using my Nutri Ninja smoothie maker. I hope you enjoy the recipes and let me know if you try any!

Note: I was very kindly sent the Nutri Ninja smoothie maker from Debenham’s to try however, this post is not sponsored.
