Deliciously Alchemy Products!

I was recently sent a package from Deliciously Alchemy, which is a gluten free brand set up by a lady called Emma, who is a Coeliac herself. All the products that they make are free from artificial flavours, colours and GM ingredients along with all being gluten free with a range of also dairy free products. I was sent a selection of the products to try including the Nutty Granola, Vanilla sponge mix, brownie mix and white bread mix. Here are my opinions along with photos of what I made!:

Nutty Granola

I am a huge Granola addict and am always on the look out for a delicious gluten free granola that isn’t full of sugars and doesn’t taste bland. This granola ticked all the boxes and is super crunchy, packed full of almonds, raisins and hazelnuts. I have really enjoyed eating this in the morning for breakfast with Alpro dairy free yoghurt and fruit. It’s also really delicious with almonds milk and a new favourite combination of mine involves this granola and the Alpro dark chocolate almond milk! If you are looking for a granola that’s gluten and dairy free, tastes delicious and isn’t full of sugar then look no further!

Vanilla Sponge Mix

I’m always on the look out for convenient and easy options when it comes to baking and cooking due to having a busy schedule and this cake mix is exactly that! It takes away all the hassle of having to buy and measure out numerous different ingredients and instead only needs to be mixed with eggs, a dairy free spread and baked! I decided to make a lemon drizzle cake with mine and added lemon zest to the mixture as well as drizzling a lemon juice and sugar glaze over the top. I have to say, it was delicious and even my non-coeliac boyfriend is currently eating his 3rd slice! (I only made the cake a few hours ago!). This mixture is again, gluten and dairy free and a super quick and easy way to make a homemade cake!

Chocolate Brownie Mix

Continuing on from the cake mix theme, I was also sent a chocolate brownie mix which again, is super easy and convenient. I chose to make some chocolate orange brownies so added eggs, dairy free spread, the zest of one orange and baked in the oven for 20 minutes. The whole process took no longer than half an hour and the brownies taste delicious! They are gluten and dairy free with no GMO as well as being suitable for vegetarians. The perfect mid morning treat with a cup of coffee!

White Bread Mix

I have never actually made my own bread before and as I have 2 freezer draws full of it, I decided to try something a little different with this mix by making gluten free pizza bases. To make these I used the packet mix, water, 2 tablespoons of olive oil, a mixing bowl and a rolling pin! – They were so simple without having to own any fancy equipment or machines and they taste amazing. I was able to make 2 pizzas with the dough as well as some mini pizza bites with the leftovers. I topped the first pizza with a veggie option, the second with pepperoni and all with Violife dairy free cheese. I will be buying this mix again for sure!

Deliciously Alchemy products can be found in most major UK supermarkets and also on their website:

I was also lucky enough to be featured on their ‘Gluten Free Bloggers & Influencers to Follow on Instagram‘ post! – Head over to their blog page if you would like to read this.

Thanks for reading.
